Pulled pork is a dinner-time staple at our house. Whether it’s for tacos or sandwiches, everyone loves it. And this flavorful Slow Cooker Pineapple Pulled Pork is one of our new favorites.
I love that this is so easy to throw everything into a slow cooker and forget about it until dinner time. Especially during those hot summer days when I don’t want to turn on my oven. Barbecue and pineapple are perfect with pork, and everyone agreed that the pineapple is what makes these pulled pork sandwiches stand out. Just about any kind of barbecue sauce will work, so use your favorite. I’ve even (unknowingly) made it with pineapple-orange juice and that was fabulous too. It’s great topped with your favorite coleslaw, but I always serve that on the side, since not everyone is a fan. Honestly, crowd-pleasing, family friendly meals don’t get any easier than this.

We are huge pulled pork fans at this house too, I don’t make it nearly as often. I love how you added the pineapple juice to this. Totally going to make this pork and turn it into a taco. Thanks Danelle!

Slow cooker pulled pork is one of my favorite weeknight meals and I love this little twist of adding pineapple juice. Looks amazing!

Thanks for the recipe- I can’t wait to make it! I’d be making this for a crowd- do you think I could double the recipe (8lbs of pork) and double all the ingredients? Would you increase the cooking time? Thanks! hoping to make this on the weekend 🙂
Denise
I was just wondering today what ingredients I needed for this!

Great recipe! I use fresh pineapple juice and add some of the chunks…. About 2 cups. The chunks turn into little flavor bombs. Delicious.

Was wondering how many calories would this be for one serving, and what is a serving size?
Danelle
I’m sorry Sarah, I don’t have that information. There might be some sort of online tool where you can type in the recipe and get the nutritional info.

I made this tonight using Boca veggie chicken patties instead of pork. No cholesterol since it didn’t have any animal products in it. It worked out very well & I will definitely make it again using the veggie chicken patties.
