Welcome to Easy Meal Plan Sunday, featuring six dinner recipes, one breakfast, a healthier option, and two delicious desserts to help simplify your life!
The past few weeks, in addition to feeding my own family, I’ve been in charge of feeding 25 hungry teenagers! My son is on his high school robotics team, and they are in the middle of building a robot for their competition. They stay after school until 8:30 pm most days, and they get hungry. I’ve been in charge of coordinating parents to bring in meals to keep them going through dinner. I’ve brought in a few meals myself too! So I’m super excited to see that this week’s meal plan has some recipes that can be easily adapted to feed a crowd!
Soups, pastas and slow cooker meals are always great options when feeding a big group. And since we still have four weeks of robot building to go, I’ll definitely be sharing some of these recipes with parents, and using them myself.
The Chili Con Carne, Pasta e Fagioli, Bacon Mac and Cheese and Buffalo Chicken Pasta are all dishes that will go over well with a bunch of teenage boys (and a few teenage girls!). And I think all the recipes in this week’s plan will go over well with my own family too.
