Peachy Dr Pepper Baked Beans

Ingredients

  • 2 28 oz. cans baked beans or pork and beans, drained
  • 5-6 slices bacon cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup Dr pepper
  • 1/4 cup peach preserves
  • 1/2 cup peeled finely diced peaches
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1-2 drops liquid smoke optional
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 2-3 quart baking dish or Dutch oven.
  • In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour into prepared baking dish.
  • Bake, uncovered, for 1 to 1.5 hours, or until hot and bubbly.
