Easy Slow Cooker Chocolate Lava Cake

Devil's food cake mix, chocolate pudding, and loads of chocolate chips combine in your slow cooker in this gooey, decadent chocolate cake. Best served warm with ice cream or whipped cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 devil's food cake mix
  • 1 2/3 cups water
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 3.9 oz. package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • With an electric mixer, beat cake mix, water, eggs and oil on medium speed until well combined. Transfer to a lightly greased slow cooker.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together milk and pudding mix until smooth. Let stand about 2 minutes until soft-set.
  • Spoon pudding over cake batter, then sprinkle with chocolate chips. Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours, or until a toothpick inserted in the cake comes out with moist crumbs.
  • Serve warm with whipped cream, ice cream or fresh berries.
