Ingredients

For the beef

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1-2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • Tortilla chips for serving

For the toppings

  • Prepared Thai peanut sauce
  • Chopped green onions
  • Chopped fresh cilantro
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink.
  • Stir in garlic, ginger, red pepper, brown sugar and soy sauce and cook for another 5-7 minutes, until most of the liquid is absorbed.
  • Spoon beef over tortilla chips and top with peanut sauce, green onions, cilantro and sesame seeds.
