Chocolate Gravy with Biscuits
This sweet twist on biscuits and gravy makes a wonderful indulgent breakfast or simple dessert, served with fresh berries and your favorite biscuits.

- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons butter softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Your favorite biscuits
- Fresh berries
In a medium saucepan, whisk together cocoa, flour, sugar and salt until no lumps remain. Whisk in the milk until well incorporated.
Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until mixtures thickens and has a consistency similar to gravy, 7-10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla.
Serve immediately over your favorite biscuits with fresh berries.
