- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1/3 cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley
- 3-4 cloves garlic minced
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Marinara sauce for serving
Cover a large baking sheet with foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, combine beef, pork, bread crumbs, ricotta, egg, parsley, garlic and seasonings. Mix well. Shape mixture into 1 1/2 inch balls and place on prepared baking sheet. Refrigerate for 30-60 minutes.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Bake meatballs for 15-20 minutes, until browned and cooked through. Serve with pasta and your favorite marinara sauce.
