Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie

This cookie pie combines two favorites--pie and chocolate chip cookies, in a decadent, satisfying dessert. Best served warm with vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 refrigerated pie crust
  • 3/4 cup butter softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line a 9-inch pie pan with crust and flute edge, if desired.
  • With an electric mixer, beat butter, both sugars, and vanilla in a large bowl at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and beat until combined.
  • Stir in the salt and flour, followed by the chocolate chips and nuts. Spread batter into prepared crust.
  • Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack before slicing and serving.
