This cookie pie combines two favorites–pie and chocolate chip cookies, in a decadent, satisfying dessert. Best served warm with vanilla ice cream.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe
If you’re looking for an easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for almost any occasion–and loved by everyone who tries it–then you need to try this Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie.
Although not quite as classic as the chocolate chip cookie, people have been enjoying versions of this cookie pie for years. And for good reason! It’s made with staple pantry ingredients.
And I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t love this dessert!
In fact, my youngest, who turns down almost any dessert I make (but loves junk food and candy) has proclaimed this cookie pie his favorite dessert. He requests it for all his birthdays and any other occasion where he gets to choose what’s for dessert.
That’s right, of all the amazing, decadent desserts he could choose in the world, he opts for this Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie. Served with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream, of course.

If you want to go all-out, you can make a homemade pie crust. But I like to keep a few refrigerated pie crusts on hand just for this recipe, because I always have the other ingredients on hand.
Any kind of chocolate chips (milk or semisweet) are fine. Or you could even mix it up with peanut butter or butterscotch chips–or a combination.
The nuts are optional, but unless you have an allergy, I really do enjoy this recipe more with the nuts. My favorite is pecans but walnuts are another great option in this pie.
This dessert really is a crowd pleasing creation. Maybe because it combines to favorites in one. I like to think of it as comfort food for my sweet tooth.
No matter the occasion, whether a celebration, church potluck, or just a regular Tuesday night, this Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie is my tried and true, go-to dessert recipe. I hope you love it and make it as much as I do!
