Three ingredients is all you need to whip up this tasty apple dip. It’s great with other fresh fruit too!
Why You’ll Love This Recipe
School started this week for my boys, which means I need some awesome after-school snack recipes up my sleeve.
Of course, they need to be quick and easy to make, and taste delicious too. And this Three Ingredient Apple Dip really fits the bill!
I won’t try and convince you that this dip is healthy, but hey, you do eat it with apples, so there’s that. As a mom I’ll take what I can get when it comes to my kids eating their fruits and veggies.
The best part is that I almost always have the ingredients for this dip on hand. All you need is a brick of cream cheese, plus some brown sugar and vanilla. And it’s so easy, my kids can make it themselves.
It’s also incredibly tasty, and works with other fruit too, like bananas or strawberries, for instance.
I don’t know what it is about offering a dip with fruits or veggies that makes them so much more palatable to kids, but it works every time.
Of course, it doesn’t hurt that this dip is so sweet and creamy. You really can’t go wrong with the combination of brown sugar and cream cheese.
But I use the same trick with baby carrots and Ranch dressing, and that works too. It must be that dipping is so much fun!
And I’m not going to lie, I enjoy this Three Ingredient Apple Dip as much as my kids do. Sometimes, I even skip the fruit and eat it straight from the spoon.
But don’t tell my kids that!
