My kids really love these, and we’ve made them a few times and changed up the type of graham crackers and chocolate chips we used.
After rigorous taste testing, our favorite combination is cinnamon graham crackers with milk chocolate chips, and that’s what I’ve shared in the recipe.
But you can certainly use regular graham crackers and semi-sweet chocolate chips and the results are also pretty tasty!
These are absolutely delicious!!! My family can’t stop eating them. This will be the “go to” recipe for all my family gatherings

Ingredients

- Chocolate chips
- Pecans
- Sweetened condensed milk
- Vanilla
- Salt
- Powdered sugar
Magic Chocolate Graham Bars
Ingredients
- 1 14 oz. box cinnamon graham crackers (3 sleeves)
- 1 12 oz. bag milk chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
- 2 14 oz. cans sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9×13 inch pan with aluminum foil, leaving an overhang, and spray foil with non-stick cooking spray.
- Place graham crackers in the bowl of a food processor and pulse until you have fine crumbs.
- In a large bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, chocolate chips, pecans, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Spread the batter into the prepared pan (I used slightly damp hands to press the batter into the pan). Bake for about 25 minutes, or until just set. Do not overbake.
- Cool completely. Lift bars from pan using the foil overhang. Cut into squares. Place the powdered sugar in a medium bowl. Gently toss the squares in powdered sugar to coat. Store in an airtight container.

Oh, wow, but these are good! One corner of my bars stuck to the foil so naturally I had to taste test. They are not completely cooled yet. I will save most of the pan to try with the powdered sugar. However, these are very tasty without the sugar. Also, I did not have milk chocolate chips so I used half semi-sweet chips and white chocolate chips. Try these! They may sound a little weird but they are so good.

I think you are my twin! I was going t write almost exactly the same thing! They’re plenty sweet as you and I made them, and if I’d use powdered sugar at all, I’d just dust them. They’re very good!

These were great even though I had to make a few adjustments for what I had on hand. I used fat free sweetened condensed milk and low-fat cinnamon grahams. I didn’t have any nuts so I increased the chocolate, using a mixture of milk chocolate and semisweet. And I skipped the powered sugar at the end. They are really good and addictive.

hi, I don’t have a processor to make the crumbs, any suggestions?? My 4 yr old granddaughter has an allergy to nuts & eggs so its sometimes hard to make a dessert that she can have that doesn’t have one or the other. If I leave out should I substitute with something else? Or if left out will the bar still work?? I really want to try this & esp for her so I hope I get an answer back to my questions Thanks so much. A blender might work. Just blend in small batches.

I would put the graham crackers in a ziploc bag and crush them with a rolling pin. You might have a few larger pieces that way, but I think it would work. I would probably crush one sleeve at a time. That’s the way I always made crumbs before I had a food processor. A blender might work too. They are the main ingredient in the recipe, so you couldn’t really leave them out.
