Chocolate mousse doesn’t need to be difficult to make to be delicious. This simple chocolate mousse recipe turns out perfectly every time!

Why You’ll Love This Recipe
I’ve tried so many recipes for chocolate mousse over the years, but this Easy Chocolate Mousse is the one I keep coming back to. It’s quick, easy, has great texture and flavor, and it never fails me.
This is the kind of dessert that will impress your friends and family, with very little effort on your part. Sure, it’s kind of a cheater recipe for mousse, but no one needs to know.
It might seem a little unconventional, with marshmallows on the ingredient list, but trust me, it always turns out fabulous!
I like to use semi-sweet chocolate chips in my mousse, but any chopped chocolate or chocolate chips should work–milk, dark, or anything in between.

I can get 12 mini desserts from this recipe, with a bit to spare, so it should make 6-8 very generous servings. You should be fine making half if you’re serving 6 or less.
I like it best served with whipped cream, but it’s also delicious with fresh berries, or some chocolate shavings, and it makes a great pie filling too!
It’s fancy enough for holidays too. For Valentine’s Day I always top it with a little chocolate heart. This is my favorite kind of dessert–easy but elegant.

I love a dessert that’s easy and elegant. These little pots of chocolate look so good- like an extra special version of chocolate pudding. Love the marshmallow! 🙂

The words “mini desserts” caught my eye. Being mini myself (and wanting to stay that way!) I don’t eat huge desserts but this chocolate mousse sounds irresistible. I never would have thought to use marshmallows. I’ll try this when the family come over for dinner again. They love being my guinea pigs. Your recipes always turn out great. Thanks again Danelle.
