This tangy, savory sauce just takes a minute to make, and it’s the perfect accompaniment to burgers, fries, and almost any finger food.
This Quick and Easy Comeback Sauce is the perfect all-purpose condiment for almost any occasion, and as the name suggests, the great flavor will keep everyone coming back for more!
As near as I can tell, Comeback Sauce is a Southern thing, although I grew up in the west eating something similar. We called it fry sauce.
It was basically a combination of ketchup and mayo, but I really love the extra kick this sauce gets from the Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and added seasonings.
Besides, it’s great on so much more than French fries! I’d make a list of all the ways you could enjoy Comeback Sauce, but we don’t have all day.
Let’s just say it’s good with pretty much anything!
I personally love to use this as a “special sauce” for my burgers. And we do all love it on fries of course. My youngest is a huge fan of deep fried pickles, and this is the perfect dipping sauce for that too.
Chicken nuggets? Yep, that’s another one of our favorite ways to use this sauce. Really, if it’s something that demands to be dipped, this sauce is probably going to work.
It’s even a pretty decent substitute for Thousand Island dressing. And not too bad as a sandwich spread either.
Even better, it takes about 15 seconds to whip up a batch, and you probably always have the ingredients in your pantry or refrigerator. Or at least something close–you can always switch up the seasonings if you need to.
If you’re looking for a go-to condiment for almost any need, whether for dipping or spreading, you’ll want to keep this recipe for Quick and Easy Comeback Sauce handy.
