Made in the air fryer and garnished with toasted sesame seeds, this crispy broccoli side dish is bursting with the flavors of soy sauce, ginger, and garlic, with a hint of sweetness from honey.
If you haven’t tried making broccoli in your air fryer yet, this Air Fryer Asian Sesame Broccoli is a great place to start!
I admit, I’m kind of late to the air fryer craze. When I had three boys living at home, I really didn’t think there was an air fryer big enough to feed my entire family.
But now that we have just one hungry teenage boy living here, I can make enough food (almost) in an air fryer to feed the three of us. And I’m here to tell you, I wish I would have invested in an air fryer years ago!
Never mind that there aren’t many big enough to cook food for an entire family. I use my air fryer all the time to cook things just for me.
I love being able to make things like this flavorful broccoli for my lunch. It’s filling, delicious, and takes about 10 minutes to cook. And when it’s dinner time, this broccoli is enough for a healthy side dish for the three of us.
Not that my seventeen year-old is a huge fan of broccoli, but if he’s going to eat it, you can bet it this tasty air fryer version.
Besides being crispy and slightly charred thanks to the air frying, this broccoli is loaded with the flavors of sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic, ginger and honey.
And don’t forget the toasted sesame seed garnish. It only takes a minute to toast the sesame seeds, and it adds such a great, nutty flavor to this dish.
Toasted almonds also work well. Of course, you can always go without the garnish, but between you and me, the toasted sesame seeds are my favorite thing about this broccoli.
If you’re looking for a quick, healthy, easy way to serve broccoli at your next meal, then this Air Fryer Asian Sesame Broccoli is a must try!
