For the longest time, I wondered why Easter was always on a different Sunday of the month.
So I finally decided to do a little research and discovered that Easter is the first Sunday after the Paschal full moon, which is the first full moon on or after the vernal equinox (March 21).
Which means Easter always falls between March 22 and April 25. Who knew?
In 2017, Easter happens to fall on April 16, which makes it rather late this year. More time to test all of these delicious recipes and decide what to include on my Easter menu!
