EASY ITALIAN GARLIC BUTTER — This delicious, buttery garlic spread has just three ingredients and adds great flavor to any ordinary slice of bread.
I love a good slice of garlic bread (who doesn’t), and this Easy Italian Garlic Butter is my favorite way to add some garlicky deliciousness to any loaf of bread!
And with just three ingredients, it couldn’t be easier to make! All you need is butter–of course–a package of Italian seasoning mix, and some minced fresh garlic.
Heck, you could even substitute a little garlic powder if you don’t have any fresh garlic handy. This recipe is pretty hard to mess up.
You just smash everything together and keep in an airtight jar or container in the refrigerator and you’ll always have delicious, savory butter available to slather on your bread.
I served this butter recently when we had a few extra teenage boys eating dinner with us, and they couldn’t get enough of it.
One of them said it tasted “gourmet.” I had to chuckle, because butter and packaged Italian salad dressing mix are hardly gourmet. But I took it to mean that they really, really liked it.
I like to slice a loaf of French bread horizontally, spread this butter over the top, and sprinkle it with some Parmesan cheese. Then broil it until everything is golden brown and a little crispy.
That’s pretty much garlic bread perfection! And once you’ve made this once, you probably won’t even need the recipe again. But it’s here for you if you do. Enjoy!
