Hot Cocoa Marshmallow Dip

When it comes to quick and easy holiday desserts, it doesn’t get much better that this super simple Hot Cocoa Marshmallow Dip.

I like to keep the ingredients for this chocolate dip on hand, because I can whip this up for last minute guests or party invitations. Just a few ingredients is all you need!

This smooth and creamy hot cocoa inspired dessert dip is so easy, even young kids can make it. And kids of all ages love to eat it.

Using hot cocoa mix and a jar of marshmallow fluff really do give this dip the flavor of a nice cup of hot chocolate. Of course, it feels even more authentic if you top it off with a handful of marshmallows.

It really doesn’t matter what type of hot cocoa mix you use–milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or white chocolate–they all work and taste delicious!

Hot Cocoa Marshmallow Dip

Our favorite dippers for this festive and fluffy dessert dip are Oreo cookies and fresh strawberries. But don’t be afraid to get creative. Graham crackers, brownie bites and shortbread cookies are also great choices.

Plus, when I serve this with strawberries, I feel a little less guilty about all of the holiday sweets I’m usually consuming. And yes, if you’d like a richer, more intense chocolate taste, you can definitely stir in some extra hot cocoa mix.

I love that this dip can be made a day or two ahead. I’m always looking to simplify things during the holidays, so quick, easy and make-ahead dishes are my favorite!

Try serving this dip in a big mug if you really want to impress your family and friends. Trust me, they’ll think you’re so creative and clever.

If you’d like a break from all of the holiday cooking and baking, have the kids whip up a batch of this Hot Cocoa Marshmallow Dip. You’ll be glad you did!
