These savory and sweet cheese balls are perfect for serving as Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner appetizers, or to bring to your next holiday party.

Everyone has their holiday traditions, and at my house, a cheese ball is a must serve menu item at Thanksgiving and Christmas time. It just wouldn’t be the holidays without one!

Holiday Cheese Ball Recipes

And with this collection of delicious cheese balls, I’m not sure how I’ll choose which one to make. Perhaps this year I’ll make two–both a savory and a sweet option. Of course, our tradition has always been the Green Onion Cheese Ball, featured here. I’m not sure I could skip that one.

You’ll find cheese balls loaded with bacon, nuts, cranberries and herbs, and even cheese balls covered in pomegranate seeds. Talk about a beautiful appetizer for your holiday feast

The dessert cheese balls are always a favorite with kids, who aren’t usually fans of more traditional cream cheese spreads. And mini cheese balls are always a fun option, and great for parties too.

If you don’t have a holiday cheese ball tradition at your house, I highly recommend starting one. And this recipe collection is a great place to start. Enjoy!
