Creamy Crunchy Peanut Butter Fudge

Calling all peanut butter lovers everywhere! You are going to want to make this smooth and delicious Creamy Crunchy Peanut Butter Fudge as soon as possible!

Honestly, this stuff is so easy to make, it’s kind of dangerous. Mainly because I can whip up a batch in about 15 minutes, and I can eat a whole pan of this fudge myself.

Of course, I love a good chocolate fudge, but it’s nice to change things up sometimes. The great thing about this recipe is you can use different varieties of chips to create different flavors of fudge.

So if you wanted to transform this into chocolate peanut butter fudge, or all chocolate fudge, you could totally do that! Butterscotch chips, white chocolate chips…..the possibilities are endless!

Not to mention all the things you can mix in to add even more texture and flavor. We’re talking nuts, crushed peppermint, or dried fruit. Or consider adding some fun, colorful sprinkles on top.

Creamy Crunchy Peanut Butter Fudge

This peanut butter fudge just happens to be the favorite at my house, which is why I’m sharing this version of the recipe.

And if your house is anything like mine, there is an ongoing dispute about whether creamy or crunchy peanut butter is better. I love crunchy peanut butter, while everyone else prefers creamy.

So I usually end up topping half of the recipe with chopped peanuts, and leaving the other half plain. Yes, that means I get half of the fudge, and everyone else has to share the rest.

This fudge always comes out super smooth and creamy, which I love. Crumbly, dry fudge is one of my pet peeves! Just be sure to stir constantly and vigorously during the 5 minute boiling period and this fudge will come out perfect every time.

If you’re looking for an easy confection to whip up for the holidays, or you’re simply struck with a late night craving for sweets, this Creamy Crunchy Peanut Butter Fudge is the answer!

  • 1 7 oz. jar marshmallow creme
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 cups peanut butter chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/3 cup chopped peanuts

Instructions

  • Line an 8-inch square pan with aluminum foil. Set aside.
  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the marshmallow cream, sugar, evaporated milk, butter and salt. Bring to a full boil, then reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly and vigorously.
  • Remove from heat and add the peanut butter chips. Stir until the chips are melted and the mixture is smooth. Stir in the vanilla.
  • Pour into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle the chopped peanuts over top, pressing down lightly so the nuts adhere to the fudge. Chill in refrigerator for 2 hours, or until firm.
