No individual cups? Just make one large cheesecake in an 8×8 dish or pie plate and let everyone dig in!
Recipe Tips
- Let the cream cheese soften—cold cream cheese won’t blend smoothly.
- Chill for at least 2 hours so the filling sets properly.
- Top just before serving with whipped cream and chocolate shavings, or even chopped hazelnuts for a little crunch.
- Use mini Mason jars or clear plastic cups if you’re making these for a party or open house—they travel well and look adorable.
How to Store Leftovers
If you somehow don’t eat them all in one go…
- Refrigerate: Store covered in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Make ahead: You can prep the full dessert a day in advance. Wait to add toppings until just before serving.
Fun Variations to Try
This is such a flexible recipe—you can customize it easily depending on what you’re craving.
- Swap Nutella for peanut butter, Biscoff spread, or chocolate ganache
- Stir in mini chocolate chips or toffee bits before filling the cups
- Add a splash of espresso for a mocha twist
- Try a graham cracker or Biscoff crust instead of Oreos

I am planning an open house for the holidays and I am doing a tasting party. These will be PERFECT since I know that at least half of my gusts LOVE Nutella. I may just have to double or triple the recipe and get some disposable cups for this one! Thanks!!

My mom made it, but, she didn’t allow the cream cheese to get soft enough before making it. As a result, there’s a good dessert with small cream cheese lumps throughout.

I made this last night for a girls night in at my house. I just made one large portion instead of induvidual ones that way girls could go back for another bite without feeling guilty that they were eating more than one serving! IT WAS HUGE HIT! They couldnt stay out of it and the entire thing was gone, which usually never happens with dessert 🙂 GREAT recipe I will make again and again! THANKS!
