NUTELLA GOOEY BUTTER CAKE — This dense, gooey Nutella cake starts with a cake mix and ends with the most decadent, buttery chocolate dessert you’ll ever eat!

    Nutella Gooey Butter Cake

Let’s get one thing out of the way right off the bat. This Nutella Gooey Butter Cake not low calorie. Or healthy.

But it is one of the best chocolate desserts I have ever made. Possibly the best! If you love chocolate, and Nutella, and cake, then this is the recipe for you.

I just made these for work and they were awesome. Everybody loved them. I did cut them into small squares because of how rich they are. I will be making them again. ~ Sandie

If you’ve never tried gooey butter cake, it’s a Midwest creation that originated in St. Louis. Supposedly, it was one of those happy accidents that came about when a local baker reversed the proportions of butter and flour when making a cake.

Who knows if that’s true. But one thing is for certain. This cake is amazing!

    Nutella Gooey Butter Cake

Because it starts with a cake mix, this dessert easy to make. And it’s full of so many other delicious ingredients (like cream cheese, and butter, and Nutella), no one will ever know you used a shortcut.

I don’t know about you, but I’m all about shortcuts in the kitchen. Especially when no one will ever know!

Imagine a molten chocolate cake that you can slice.  This Nutella Gooey Butter Cake is kind of like that. Or a cake with a yummy pudding-like center.

Honestly, I’m not sure how to describe this kind of chocolate decadence.  You just have to try it!

This cake is great on it’s own, or topped with some fresh whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

Be sure to save this Nutella Gooey Butter Cake recipe to your favorite Pinterest board for later.

I am heading out on vacation and need some desserts to make while boating. I just printed this one off. How do you get it so that you can have a printable recipe? I would love that on my blog as would my family? Maybe you could do a tutorial on that.

How about posts from people that actually made it. Yes a picture can look good, but as we all know from the past 6 years, until you have experienced it, the hope can be all hype.
