Patriotic Party Mix

If you’re looking for an fun, easy, patriotic treat to celebrate Independence Day this summer, you’ve got to try this Patriotic Party Mix!

Honestly, this red, white and blue snack mix couldn’t be any easier to throw together. Just mix a handful of tasty ingredients in a big bowl, then coat everything in white chocolate.

So easy! And it’s the perfect summer holiday treat for inviting younger kids to help out in the kitchen.

The most surprising thing about this party mix–besides how easy it is to make–is how delicious addictive it is. With such a simple ingredient list, I wasn’t expecting much.

But I couldn’t stop eating this stuff! Which may not be a good thing, but I definitely enjoyed it!

Patriotic Party Mix

I made a big batch of this snack mix for our July 4th neighborhood block party and packaged it up in individual boxes so people could grab it and go.

It was a huge hit, and I got a lot of requests for the recipe, which I basically explained as “put everything you see in a bowl and cover it in white chocolate.

Obviously this recipes lends itself to substitutions and additions and could be made with a different color scheme for almost any holiday.

For me, the marshmallows are the must include ingredient. I just love the way their sweet, sticky chewiness contrasts with the crunch of the other ingredients.

The point is, this addicting Patriotic Party Mix can be made in a snap with plenty of room for personalization, and it’s always a hit. Happy summer!
