Cheesy tortellini pasta is tossed with a garlic and Parmesan creamy sauce in this super fast, restaurant quality recipe the whole family will love.
If you like your meals to be fast, easy, and restaurant-level delicious, then you’re going to want the recipe for this Quick Tortellini with Pancetta Cream Sauce.
My friend Micah texted me this recipe a few months ago, and as soon as I read the ingredient list, I knew my family and I would love it. Because what’s not to love about pasta and pancetta in a creamy garlic and Parmesan sauce?
Also, everyone in my family loves alfredo, and this is basically alfredo with a few fancy upgrades. So I knew it would be a hit.
Plus, this dish is ready to eat in about 15 minutes. Dinner literally can’t get much quicker than that. And did I mention that everyone devours this tasty pasta dish in even less time than it takes to make it?
Trust me when I say you need this simple, tasty, versatile recipe in your collection. Because you will be making it again and again.
When I say versatile, I mean that you could throw in some frozen veggies (like peas or broccoli) to cook with the pasta, or you could use ravioli or gnocchi instead of tortellini. And chopped cooked bacon is great in place of the pancetta.
My favorite tip to make this recipe even quicker–Trader Joe’s has pre-diced pancetta. I just keep some in the freezer, along with some fresh tortellini, and I can whip this meal up on those crazy busy week nights that happen all to often.
Just be sure to sautรฉ your pancetta with the garlic to start, because that is what makes the creamy Parmesan sauce taste so amazing!
And don’t add salt until you’ve tasted the finished dish. Prosciutto can be super salty, and you don’t want to overdo it. Plenty of fresh pepper and a sprinkle of fresh parsley is a great addition though.
Believe me when I say that dinner doesn’t get any faster, easier, or more delicious than this Quick Tortellini with Pancetta Cream Sauce. This one is definitely a keeper!
