Eggnog, vanilla pudding and whipped cream come together in this easy, delicious holiday dessert that you can whip up in 10 minutes or less!
Why You’ll Love This Recipe
If you need an easy, delicious, last-minute dessert for your next holiday party or get-together, this Eggnog Dessert Dip is the answer!
This may just be the quickest, easiest dessert you make this holiday season. Possibly this year! Really, it’s that simple, and only requires 5 ingredients.
The most important ingredient being eggnog, of course. We all love eggnog at my house, but I think that even if you don’t, you might still love this sweet and creamy dessert dip.
My 15 year-old made this with basically no supervision, and was quite impressed by how fast it all came together. He was even more impressed by how good it was.
We basically devoured the entire bowl, and only when it was too late did I realize I probably should have doubled the recipe.
This dip is wonderful with gingersnaps, Iced Oatmeal Cookies (my favorite), Golden Oreos, and shortbread cookies. My husband and boys favorite dipper was Pepperidge Farm Chessmen Cookies.
And there are so many other possibilities–strawberries, graham crackers, cubed pound or angel food cake–even chocolate cookies would taste amazing dipped in this eggnog infused goodness.
This dip is already on our Christmas Eve menu, when I’m planning to serve it with homemade gingersnaps and shortbread cookies. Plus a few store-bought dippers to make my life a little easier.
Best of all, it can be made several days ahead of time, and since I know my kids can manage it, I’ll be able to get at least some help in the kitchen this holiday season!
If you like to keep things simple and delicious during this busy time of year, you really can’t go wrong with this Eggnog Dessert Dip. Don’t be surprised if it’s the first thing to disappear at your Christmas party this year.
