Make this delicious holiday ham in your slow cooker, glazed with a sweet and savory cranberry and cola sauce.
If you want to have plenty of room in your oven when you prepare your holiday feast this year, this beautiful and delicious Slow Cooker Cranberry Cola Glazed Ham is the way to go.
Not only does it free up valuable space in your oven for side dishes and baked goods, slow cooking is a great way to ensure your ham comes out moist and flavorful. Of course, a festive glaze made with cranberry sauce and your favorite carbonated cola drink makes this ham taste even better!
The slow cooker is also a no-fuss, hands off method of preparing food, which means I can spend less time in the kitchen. And who doesn’t want to spend less time in the kitchen and more time with family during the holidays?
And thanks to great recipes like this, and some help from my local Safeway store, I can create a fresh, delicious meal without doing all the hard work myself.
The holiday season may look a little different this year, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a beautiful meal, no matter who you’ll be sharing it with. To beat the crowds and get the best deals, I recommend get your holiday meal shopping done early . Or shop online and relax knowing youโre all set for the big day.
With Safeway, you can even order your entire holiday meal online. Simply order ahead online, pick up at the store, and re-heat when ready to serve.

To save time, I like to prepare a holiday meal using a combination of homemade dishes, like these delicious roasted potatoes, alongside rolls and desserts from the Safeway bakery.
One of my favorite time saving tricks for entertaining is to purchase a beautiful bakery dessert, like this cheesecake, and add my own garnish to give it some holiday flare.
I simply topped this cheesecake from the Safeway bakery with some sugared cranberries and a few sprigs of rosemary. It only took a few minutes, but it’s the kind of special touch your family and friends will really appreciate.
Safeway has a variety of beautiful cakes, pies, cheesecakes and other desserts that are perfect for any special occasion. The bakery also carries a large assortment of rolls and breads for you holiday dinner.
My family is partial to the potato rolls–and they are the absolute favorite of my sixteen year-old. I always purchase extra so we can make sandwiches the next day with our leftover ham.
I suspect my family might like the sandwiches on day two even more than the holiday meal.
I also used fresh cranberries and rosemary garnish to my slow cooker ham. It adds so much to the presentation, yet it’s so simple to do. You can find both in Safeway’s produce department, along with all the fresh in-season produce to make your favorite holiday sides.
If you’ll be doing your shopping in-store, be sure to shop early for any essentials and items that can be stored.
