Slow Cooker Pork Roast with Gravy

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

This Slow Cooker Pork Roast with Gravy is the perfect, easy meal for any night you want to serve something hearty, comforting and warm.

When I think of slow cooked pork, I most often think of pulled pork for things like sandwiches, tacos and burritos. But this delicious pork roast is something completely different.

I’ve been making slow cooked beef pot roast this way for years. Slow cooking it in it’s own gravy until it’s fall-off-the-bone tender. I don’t know why I never thought of making pork roast this way until now!

And let me tell you, it was delicious! This is the kind of thing I like to serve for Sunday dinner. I don’t know why, but everyone seems to be starving by the time we get home from church, and this meal really hits the spot!

This is such an easy meal to prepare too–just a few simple ingredients that you throw into the slow cooker. Including baby carrots, if you want to make things really simple and cook your veggies at the same time.

Slow Cooker Pork Roast with Gravy

I highly recommend serving this pork and gravy over a heaping pile of mashed potatoes. I mean, any time gravy is involved, it goes without saying that you need some mashed potatoes.

This is a great alternative to the traditional beef roast, and if you have any leftovers, they’re great in soups and stews.

If you don’t want to go with carrots as a side, you can always roast some green beans or other veggies as a side. And I always like to finish things off with a garnish of fresh chopped parsley.

It really doesn’t get any easier, tastier, or more comforting than this simple slow cooked pork roast.

Needless to say, this Slow Cooker Pork Roast with Gravy was a huge hit at my house. I hope you love it as much as we did.
