No more waiting for water to boil. You can make “hard-boiled” eggs in your air fryer in about 15 minutes!

Air Fryer Hard Boiled Eggs

This recipe for Air Fryer Hard Boiled Eggs proves, once again, that there’s almost nothing you can cook in an air fryer!

Seriously, if you haven’t hopped on the air fryer bandwagon yet, what are you waiting for? I was a huge skeptic myself, but the air fryer has become one of the most used, most beloved appliances in my kitchen.

Okay, let’s get one thing out of the way right off the bat. I know that technically these eggs aren’t “boiled” at all.

The only water involved is a cold water bath after the eggs have cooked. But I honestly didn’t know what else to call them.

The point is, the end result is the same as you’d get making hard-boiled eggs the traditional way. In fact, it might even be a little bit better.

Air Fryer Hard Boiled Eggs

Just like classic hard boiled eggs, you can opt for a soft, medium or fully cooked yolk by adjusting how long you leave your eggs in the air fryer.

Personally, I like a fully cooked hard boiled egg, so I leave mine in for the full 17-18 minutes. You might have to experiment with a few eggs to start to find the best cooking time for your particular air fryer.

And you don’t want to skip the water bath step at the end, since this will quickly stop your eggs from becoming over-cooked.

Also, don’t worry if your eggs look a little bumpy and brown on the outside after cooking. That’s the air fryer at work. They’ll be perfectly cooked on the inside.

If you eat as many hard boiled eggs as I do, you’re going to love this easy, no fuss recipe for Air Fryer Hard Boiled Eggs.
