When you roast garlic, the cloves become slightly toasted, soft and almost butter like, and the possibilities for using roasted garlic are almost endless.
Obviously you can smoosh and spread it right onto some crusty bread. You can also mix roasted garlic into softened butter for a totally decadent garlic bread spread.
And you can add the whole cloves to almost any savory dish, or use them as a pizza topping. If you really love garlic, you can just eat the roasted cloves on their own.
The people you live and work with might not appreciate that so much, but don’t let that stop you!
And roasting garlic could not be an easier than it is in the air fryer. All you need are 2-3 heads of garlic, plus a few additional pantry staples like olive oil, salt and pepper.
You’ll also need a sharp knife and some aluminum foil to wrap the garlic in while it roasts. Twenty minutes or so in the air fryer and you’ll have the most amazing garlic you’ve ever had.
Be sure to let the garlic cool for a bit before you remove the cloves. It’s going to be super hot coming out of the air fryer!
You can store roasted garlic in the refrigerator in a small, air-tight container for up to two weeks. And you can freeze it for up to a month. Which means you can use it on pretty much anything.
