GAME DAY DESSERT KABOBS WITH BROWNIE BATTER DIP — These dessert kabobs, featuring fresh fruit, brownies and marshmallows, along with a creamy chocolate dip, are the perfect way to serve something sweet during the big game.
If you’re looking for something sweet to serve on game day this year, you’ll want to check out these Game Day Dessert Kabobs With Brownie Batter Dip!
Even when I’m tailgating at home, I still love serving a tasty game day spread, and I always find the highest quality deli, bakery, and fresh produce options for game day at my local Safeway store.
However you are planning on watching sporting events this year, Safeway has you covered with their made in-store chicken wings, freshly-prepared deli salads, bakery treats, and Fresh Cut fruit bowls.
And I always check the weekly ad in my Safeway app before I head out shopping so I know about all the great deals I’ll find in the store when I visit.
With the help of fresh cut fruit and bakery brownies for my local Safeway store, these dessert kabobs are so easy to put together. Not to mention, fun to eat!
I used brownie bites from the bakery for my dessert kabobs, but they have plenty of other freshly baked treats to satisfy any sweet tooth, like traditional brownies, cupcakes and Signature SELECT™ chocolate chip cookies.
If you can’t find brownie bites at your local store, just opt for traditional brownies and cut them into 1-inch squares.
I used strawberries from one of Safeway’s Fresh Cut fruit bowls to create my dessert kabobs, but their fruit bowls are also a great way to include a healthy option in your game day spread.
Of course, it wouldn’t be game day without wings! At least, that’s what my family tell me. And the deli department at Safeway has a variety of freshly prepared chicken wings. Whether you prefer bone-in or boneless, they’ve got you covered!
They also offer their wings in a variety of flavors, which is a big deal for my family! My youngest loves the honey barbecue wings and my middle child prefers the spicy Buffalo wings. And I’m just glad Safeway offers something for everyone.
Surprisingly, we do all agree on our favorite flavor–the salt and vinegar wings. But I always pick up a variety of flavors, including both boneless and bone-in wings for our game day meals.
It’s so much easier and more convenient than making wings myself, especially if I want to serve a variety of choices. To round out the meal, I always pick up some prepared in-store potato salad, chicken salad or coleslaw from the cold deli case.
Just because we’ll be doing most of our tailgating at home this season doesn’t me we want to give up all of our favorite game day foods.
I really love that it’s so convenient to create fresh and delicious game day meals by shopping at Safeway for made in-store chicken wings, freshly-prepared deli salads, bakery treats, and Fresh Cut fruit bowls.
Plus, Safeway offers Grocery Delivery and DriveUp & Go™ for convenient ways to shop!
And don’t limit yourself to just serving your game day dessert kabob-style. Putting food on skewers is a great way to serve game day eats. In fact, one of our local ballparks serves a version of these dessert kabobs and they are always a hit.
When you won’t be sitting down to a traditional meal at the table, a kabob is a convenient, portable way to eat. Plus, food on a stick is just fun. So don’t be afraid to get creative and try serving other foods kabob-style at your next game day gathering.
I’m planning to try boneless wing kabobs next! Whatever you do, be sure to include these Game Day Dessert Kabobs With Brownie Batter Dip in your next game day spread.
