Even if you’re crunched for time this holiday season (aren’t we all?) I promise you’ll have time to make these Easy No-Bake Peppermint Thins.
All you need is three simple ingredients and about 10 minutes and you can enjoy this chocolate and peppermint holiday treat.
Whenever I add these minty cookies to Christmas cookie trays or serve them at holiday parties, they are always one of the first things to disappear.
Yes, a “cookie” made with a buttery Ritz cracker might seem strange, but trust me, it works!
Besides crackers, you’ll need some Andes Mints and some crushed peppermint candy. I like to use mini candy canes in this recipe because they’re so easy to smash.
Smashing peppermint candies is also a great way to relieve some of that holiday season stress. I use a heavy wooden rolling pin, but a cast iron skillet works great too.
I like to place the dipped chocolate crackers on a parchment lined baking sheet and pop them in the freezer for a few minutes so they set quickly.
This is also a great, easy recipe for kids to try. The holidays are always a fun time to get everyone involved in the kitchen and build holiday traditions.
I keep all of the ingredients for these peppermint thins on hand during the holidays, so I can whip up a batch any time. They really are the best last-minute holiday treat you can make!
The holidays season is so busy, which is why everyone needs this recipe for Easy No-Bake Peppermint Thins in their collection.
