Made with ingredients you probably always have on hand, this delicious dip is perfect for last minute party invitations or late night snack cravings.
Everyone needs a quick dip recipe they can whip up with ingredients they already have on hand, and this Easy Chip and Veggie Dip is my go to for all of my last minute appetizer needs.
Basically, all you need to create this flavorful dip for chips and veggies is some sour cream, mayonnaise and dried herbs and spices.
And it only take about 5 minutes to make, so even if you have last minute guests, or have a sudden late night snack craving, you can have this dip ready to go in almost no time.
Don’t worry if you don’t have the exact ingredients called for in the recipe. This dip is very forgiving. If you use a little more mayo than sour cream, or vise versa, that’s perfectly fine.
Feel free to sub in different herbs and spices too. And if you have fresh herbs and fresh garlic on hand, don’t hesitate to throw all that in as well.
If you use all fresh herbs in this recipe, and no dried herbs, you’ll need roughly double the amount to get as much flavor. Often I use a combination of both depending on what I have on hand.
Although this dip can be ready in a hurry, it does taste better if all the flavors have a chance to mingle in the refrigerator for a few hours, or even overnight.
I’d love to tell you that my favorite way to enjoy this creamy dip is with a variety of fresh cut vegetables, but that would be a lie.
My favorite way to enjoy this dip is with Ruffle’s potato chips. But it does help me, and my kids, eat more vegetables than we normally would.
You’ll definitely want to add this recipe for Easy Chip and Veggie Dip to your recipe box. It’s one you’ll use over and over again!
